Our permanent galleries of modern art feature both paintings and sculptures by modern artists. For example, you will come face to face with Vincent Van Gogh's artworks in the Van Gogh Gallery. This is the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world with almost 90 paintings and more than 180 works on paper. Unprecedented for a national art gallery in the Netherlands. You will also see several Claude Monet paintings during your visit. Other modern masters with a permanent position in our modern art presentations include: Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian and Gerrit Rietveld. So, if you are looking for an impressive display of modern art, visit the Kröller Müller Museum.
Like many art galleries in the Netherlands, there is also space for contemporary visual artists at the Kröller Müller Museum. These include artists such as Roni Horn and Ger van Elk. The works of both artists can be seen in the permanent galleries. Moreover, you can enjoy ever-changing temporary presentations by contemporary artists. See the overview of current presentations.
