Tips for families with children

The museum has one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe. The surroundings elicit pure enjoyment, of the sculptures and the nature. Leisurely sprawled in the grass, cosily picnicking together or running circuits; all this is possible in the sculpture garden.

Museum Dice Game

For families with children from 4 years old there is a special Museum Dice Game. This game takes you through the entire museum. By throwing dice with your family, searching for artworks and answering fascinating questions, you’ll never view art in the same way again!

For children of 4 years and older, we offer detective games for in the museum and the sculpture garden. The detective games are available free of charge in the museum.

Picture books for toddlers

Two picture books for toddlers are available from the museum shop. In Swan looks for a playmate, the children meet Swan (Floating Sculpture, ‘Otterlo’ by Marta Pan). And in Swan gets dots George Seurat plays a special role.
