Highlights tour
Look deep into the eyes of Charley Toorop, get swept along by futurism and discover artworks by the world-famous Vincent van Gogh. Our Highlights tour for secondary schools introduces students to our collection. In an active way that is appropriate for the level of your class, students discover masterpieces and the story of Helene Kröller-Müller together with an experienced guide.
What to expect
- Duration: 1 hour
- Price: €55 per tour
- Group size: 15 students + 1 teacher
- Teacher’s role: a teacher must be present in every tour. The teacher participates in the conversation and is responsible for addressing the group regarding compliance with the house rules etc.
- Number: a maximum of 4 groups of students can take the tour at the same time.
- Form: active group discussion on +/- 6 artworks from the permanent collection. For each work, the discussion starts with a question or statement based on the central theme. This theme ties in with the secondary school curriculum. The tour guide encourages students to view actively, investigate together and promotes mutual interaction.
